Kirk
Sullivan’s ministry began long before he ever stepped into the
spotlight of
contemporary Christian music as one fourth of the group…4Him.
This native of Oklahoma took the stage for his first-ever performance
at the tender age of three at the Southside Assembly of God in
Oklahoma City. Kirk didn’t realize it at the time, but God was
setting the stage for what would be a life-long calling…leading people
to the knowledge of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Kirk’s musical heritage began at home with his parents. His mother, a
musical talent in her own right, was the pianist and choir director at
the church she attended. She later went on to write several songs and
perform on Kirk’s first album…”Kirk Sings!” (Click here to
learn how you can get a copy of this unique recording.) His
father also had the gift of song, and spent seven years performing
with his brothers-in-law in a group called the Kinsman Quartet.
With
his heart and life already dedicated to Christ at the age of seven,
Kirk recorded his first gospel album at the age of twelve and
committed his gifts and passion to the glory of God. Years later,
when the opportunity to be part of his first group presented itself,
Kirk asked his parents for permission to go on the road. With little
time to reply to his request, his mother went to the Lord in prayer
seeking the answer. When she opened her Bible, the pages (literally)
fell open to Psalm 150: 1-6. The Lord promised that He would do more
for Kirk than she ever hoped or dreamed of, and as always… He remained
true to His promise.
Kirk’s time in that group was brief, but his dreams continued to come
true when he was recruited by Roger Breland to be part of the ensemble
TRUTH. He remained a vital component of the group for a total of
seven years, performing throughout North America and gained the
valuable experience that would be the foundation for
the next chapter of his life.
It
was while touring with TRUTH that Kirk had the fortunate opportunity
to meet Marty Magehee, Andy Chrisman and Mark Harris. A meaningful
friendship and bond evolved amongst the guys, and 4Him was born. More
than a decade later, with eleven albums (and a new one currently in
production) and over 200 songs, including more than twenty three #1
records to their credit, this Dove award-winning group continues
relentlessly pursuing God’s call to spread the gospel of Christ
through song. Click

Between recording and touring with 4Him, Kirk has taken the time to
bring to light a desire the Lord put on his heart many years ago. The
season has come for him to create and produce a praise and worship
album personalized by his own walk with the Lord. Journey and
discover the inner most thoughts and feelings of this man as he leads
you into worship.
